This image is from a photocopy of the Mount Sinai News. The title of the article is “Everyone Talks About Mount Sinai’s Glorious History; Al Lyons, Arch Archivist, Does Something About It.” There are six images, each an example of what can be found in the archives. They show: 1) A reproduction of Harper’s Weekly, May 22, 1869. 2) A sketch from a Hospital benefit at the Hippodrome, 1975. 3) Photo of rounds in the children’s ward, early twentieth century. 4) Portrait of John L. Hart, Hospital President when it opened. 5) Photograph of an operating room during surgery. 6) A photograph of Dr. George Baehr giving Dr. Lyons a blood transfusion set for the Archives.
